Your Average Guy.

Wondering around on Flickr, I clicked the "Explore" button, and found a photostream, officially from the White House. Their set called "Delivering on Change" was truly stunning. Photos of Barrack Obama being your average guy. It was so cool to see these up close and personal photos of Obama that show his cool and fun personality. I think it's interesting to see what Obama really does when he's not signing bills and making a million phone calls and speeches.
Here is the link to the photostream, if you are interesting in viewing it -

Easter Bunny Came!

Happy late Easter! Easter was so fun this year because this year my grandpa hid eggs with MONEY in them! After all the kids found out that, they didn't care about the real eggs that I slaved over, haha. Well I got a couple cute Easter-y pictures I thought I would like to share. And one that Chase took too. The thing I love about Easter is color color color. If you don't dye Easter eggs anymore, you sure are missing out on a whole lot of fun.
What's your favorite part of Easter?

Emily in Action.

This is my little sister, Emily (yeah, yeah she's cute I know). Well, the other day she had a softball game so I decided to come and take some pictures of her. I've never really tried action photography before but it was way more fun than I expected! It's really cool because you have to wait for the exact right moment to catch the shot you've been waiting for.

Speaking of Emily, she hit it to the fence that night! We were so proud of her.
Does action or sports photography sound like fun to you?

Shake it Like a Polaroid Picture

On Monday evening I was strolling through downtown Concord and I came upon this little antique store that was sort of hidden between Ellie's Coffee Shop and another store. I walked around for about 20 minutes, just browsing, and I realized that they might actually have some old film cameras lying around somewhere. I went up to a lady, asking her if they had any, and we looked around for a while trying to find one. At first, all I really found was an old Kodak camcorder, which I wasn't very interested in, but finally I saw an ancient Polaroid Land Camera laying on its back in the glass case. I was so excited, and then I noticed that it was in the 75% off case! It turned out only being $3! So I got to come home to my "brand new" toy to play with. I'm not 100% sure that it works, because I have to buy some film for it, but I'm so glad I got the first Polaroid in my new collection. Here are some other photos taken with a Polaroid Land Camera 104. Photos copyright LexieGehrke on Flickr.
