Self-Portraits

Isn't life a series of images that change as they repeat themselves?
These are my self portraits. The hardest thing about self-portraits is that it's a trial and error process the entire time. You set up the timer, settings, and everything else, position the camera and hope for a good outcome. Chances are, you'll get one good picture out of like, 15. My favorite picture is the first one. I used a small lamp near my face to get some good lighting. I would definitely say that self-portraits are probably one of the most challenging subjects in photography. Hope you liked them!

  3. Yea, I agree with them! It is a confusing quote. Maybe it means you do the same thing over and over again in life, but each time it's different in a way! That's my guess.
    I like the pictures though!

  4. I do agree with everyone else, the quote is confusing, but in a way it is understandable. As for the pictures, I love them. I do agree with you, self photography is probably the hardest. You spend hours just to get the right one, and after about 100 pictures you are left with 1 or 2 that you really like.

  6. I think that this is turly a deep quote that takes some thinking. i read it the first time and was so confused...but then I read it again, then thought about it and I understood it. The images change but then evenutally repeat itself, and the beauty of photography seems to capture it.
